Professor Nguyen Van Tuan, an outstanding scientist and pioneer in the field of osteoporosis, is currently a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Health Technology Center at the University of Technology Sydney. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame Australia and the University of New South Wales. In addition, he holds the titles of NHMRC Leadership Fellow, Fellow of the Academy of Health and Medical Science, and Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales. With over 30 years of research and leadership experience at leading institutions such as the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and UTS, he has made significant contributions to understanding the genetic and environmental factors influencing osteoporosis.
